UPDATED: Authorities investigating shooting death in city
Police are investigating a shooting death that occurred Saturday afternoon in the City of Bradford.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer and Bradford City Police Chief Mike Ward confirmed to The Era on Saturday evening that “the case is a death investigation.”
City of Bradford Police, Bradford Township Police, McKean County District Attorney and Detective Bureau, and Pennsylvania State Police are involved.
Shaffer said, “The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be provided when it becomes known.”
She added that, based on their investigation, authorities do not believe anyone else is in danger.
