Henna Akhtar, daughter of Dr. Muhammad Javed Akhtar, will sponsor a dinner Friday at the Friendship Table in honor of her father’s birthday.

For more than 30 years, Dr. Akhtar faithfully served the community, representatives said. In addition to his medical service, he has been a faithful volunteer with the Friendship Table, Kiwanis Club and other local charitable organizations and initiatives.

“Happy birthday, Dr. Akhtar, from everyone at the Friendship Table and the many patients you have served over the years,” they said.
