SHINGLEHOUSE — Oswayo Valley Junior-Senior High School recognized 25 members of its Class of 2025 at the annual Senior Recognition Program held May 28.

Special awards and scholarships were presented to selected seniors by representatives of several scholarship programs. More than $260,000 in scholarships sponsored by local organizations were made available to the Oswayo Valley graduates.

Scholarships and awards were presented to:

• Maddison Ranee Austin — American Legion Post 530 Auxiliary Scholarship, F.L and Alice Donovan Memorial, The Norton Scholarship Trust, Oswayo Valley Senior Center Scholarship, OVTA Future Educator Scholarship and Shinglehouse Volunteer Fire Department.
• Charlotte Makenna Austin-Keech — Academic Wall of Fame in English, sponsored by Shinglehouse Shop N Save; Eureka Chapter 52, Order of the Eastern Star; Denny Keech Sr. Memorial Scholarship, Norton Scholarship Trust, Oswayo Valley Senior Center Scholarship, OVTA Valedictorian Award, Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance Association; and alternate for Major Lance Newton Memorial Scholarship.
