Breese’s walk-off homer keeps ARG undefeated in thriller over Frederico Properties
In one of the most exciting games of the season so far, ARG remained undefeated with a dramatic 9-6 win over Frederico Properties in machine pitch baseball action. The back-and-forth battle came to a thrilling finish when Ryan Breese crushed a walk-off home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to secure the win for ARG.
Trailing late in the game, ARG showed resilience and teamwork. Gabe Mongillo led off the final inning with a clutch single and later scored on a game-tying hit by Sawyer Priest. Breese then stepped up and delivered the game-winner, hitting a three-run homerun.
ARG’s offense was firing across the lineup. Easten Groce, Sawyer Priest, Cooper Smolak, and Kaivan Dynda all recorded two hits each, keeping the pressure on Frederico throughout the game. Zeke Foster, Leon Prentiss, Hutch Matzner, Phoenix Nolan, and Gabe Mongillo each added a hit to round out the team’s deep offensive effort.
Frederico Properties made it a competitive showdown from the first pitch. Silas Meyer had a standout day at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3. Hudson Lang, Bryce Yohe, Logan Lentz, Jaxon Carlson, and Jonathan Pence all tallied two hits, while Cooper Berghauser, Kodiak Kepler, Jude Work, and Matthew Cannon each added a hit of their own.
Both teams displayed excellent sportsmanship and determination, but ARG’s late-inning heroics sealed the deal in this instant classic.
