Daniel Cukierski
Daniel Martin Cukierski, 78, of Bradford passed away Saturday (May 31, 2025) at Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital.
He was born Dec. 5, 1946, in Chicago, a son of the late Martin and Regina Polinski Cukierski.
On Dec. 27, 1980, in Bradford, he married Mary Zetts, who survives. They spent many years in Chicago before moving to Bradford in 2016.
He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War era veteran, serving in Korea where he earned the rank of captain. He served from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1975.
He was employed by various industries in manufacturing management.
He was a devoted and lifelong Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan.
In addition to his wife of 44 years, Mary Cukierski of Bradford, he is also survived by one daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Kenosha, Wis.; one grandson, Tyler Johnson of Kenosha; three brothers, Gerald Cukierski, Joseph (Eileen) Cukierski and Michael (Margerita) Cukierski, all of Chicago; and many nephews and a niece.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Christopher; one brother, George; and one sister, Theresa.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
