Several Smethport athletes were recognized during the Smethport Sports Banquet. Back Row, from left: Owen Rounsville, Rylin Shields, and Haydn Riekofsky and Front Row: Kaylee Edgar and Ellie Yeager. Rounsville earned the Woody Maynard Award for Outstanding Male Athlete; Yeager earned the Glenn Mencer Award for Outstanding Female Athlete; Edgar and Riekofsky were the Female and Male recipients of the Joe Galloway Award for School Spirit/Positive Attitude. These awards are chosen by the coaches from fall, winter and spring sports and the sports boosters. When determining the winner of these awards they are looking for those exemplifying leadership, grit, and everything it means to be a Hubber.
