Bradford Area High School will hold its 145th commencement ceremonies at 7 p.m.

Thursday. The district has announced the Class of 2025’s student speakers and top Career and Technical Education student are Isabella Prince, Isabella Ramos, Camden Baker and Gage Wilmoth.

Mr. Laurence Stillman will give the commencement address.

Prince will welcome the class. Daughter of Ed Prince and Andrea Prince, Isabella served as Student Council class president, Student Body president and a United Way student ambassador in addition to her membership in National Honor Society.

She participated in varsity soccer, WNY Flash Academy ECNL soccer, varsity track and field and varsity girls wrestling.

She will attend Gannon University in the pre-med/physician assistant program and will continue her soccer career there.

The class address will be given by Ramos.

Daughter of Silvia and William Kline, Isabella served as a United Way student ambassador, member of the Volunteer Club, treasurer of both Student Council and National Honor Society, and president of Yearbook Club. She also played girls tennis.

Ramos will attend the University of Pittsburgh. Baker, son of Robert and Vickie Baker, will offer the class farewell.

Camden is president of Bradford High Key Club, two-year captain of Bradford Marching Owls Color Guard, member of the Jazz/Wind/ Combined ensembles and Bradford Youth Trap team. He was inducted in both the National and National Technical honor societies and was a participant in the Capstone/ Cooperative Education

Baker will attend Jamestown (N.Y.) Community College’s nursing program to pursue a career in travel nursing.

Gracey-Dalton is the Class of 2025’s baccalaureate speaker. Daughter of Andrew Dalton and Mary Gracey-Dalton, Karsyn is class secretary, a member of both the National and National Technical honor societies and served as a United Way student ambassador. She was also a member of the varsity swimming team.

Gracey-Dalton plans to enlist in the U.S. Air Force.

Wilmoth, grandson of Jeffrey and Sandra Carr, is this year’s top CTE student, studying machine technology. Gage is vice-president and treasurer of Parkway Industrial Student Manufacturing Corp., a SkillsUSA district champion and state-level competitor and a member of National Technical Honor Society. He took part in varsity tennis, varsity wrestling and cheerleading as the Owl mascot.

Wilmoth will attend Penn State University to study turfgrass management.

This year’s commencement speaker, Stillman has a lifelong association with Bradford Area School District — first as a student, graduating from Bradford Area High School in 1972. Upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976, Stillman began what has become a nearly 50-year career as an educator, coach and mentor in the community.

Along the way, he also completed graduate work at St. Bonaventure and Franklin and Marshall universities, earning a master’s equivalency in 1986. Stillman is a member of the Social History Institute 1986, Governor’s School for Social Studies 2001 and the Eisenhower Academy 2010.

Stillman taught at Fretz Junior High from 1976 until 1995 and Bradford Area High School from 1995 until his retirement in 2013. He has not vanished in retirement, however, as he continues serving as a daily and long-term substitute teacher and athletic coach.

During his long career in education, Stillman spent 15 years as student council advisor, three years as lead teacher for the Social Studies Department, and was vice-president of the Bradford Area Education Association from 1995 to 2010. In the early 2000s, he was also instrumental in bringing the first Advanced Placement courses into the high school curriculum.

Stillman also has a lifelong association with Bradford Area School District athletics — first as a student athlete and then as a coach. He has been the assistant girls track coach and, now, the head girls track coach since 1979. He was also the girls cross country coach from 1981 to 1990, the assistant football coach from 1991 to 2003 and the middle school cross country coach from 2010 to 2014. His teams have won numerous District 9 championships and he also coached Bradford’s 2006 state champion girls track team.

Outside of school, Stillman is an avid outdoorsman and student of Civil War history.

He and his wife, Dawn, have been married since 1976 and have two children, Jennifer and Andrew, as well as a granddaughter, Lucy.
