The second group of PA players has been announced for the 2025 Big 30 Charities Classic. Check Saturday’s Edition of The Era for this week’s 10 NY players.

The next 10 players announced for the PA roster include Bradford’s Evan Whitmore; Eisenhower’s Ryan Chambers and Jaydon Chase; Aiden McAlee of St. Marys; Jaden Prince, Charles Minard and Davey Schenfield, all of Otto-Eldred; Alex Marfink of Sheffield; Tyler Fillhart of Port Allegany;  and Devin Vantassel of Warren.

    Read more about each below:

    Evan Whitmore

Evan plans to attend Pitt-Bradford to major in Engineering. He would also like to do some summer internships in Boston, Massachusetts. During his freshman year, he received the Scout Team Player of the Year. After his sophomore season he received Most Improved Player of the Year and, as a junior, he received Defensive MVP. After his senior season, he got a bag of oranges. He was a four-year Letterman. Football and the Big 30 are family traditions. He says that his Father played for Salamanca in the Big 30 game in 1991. His cousins played for Portville, NY. His oldest sister was a cheerleader and homecoming queen for Bradford in 2019, and another sister was a cheerleader for Ellicottville, NY in 2016. His best memory playing football was winning the Bradford vs. Coudersport game in 2023. It ended Bradford’s long losing streak. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Matt Milano.

    Ryan Chambers

    Eisenhower Middle/High School

    Height:5’7” – Weight: 145 lbs.

    Offense: WR/RB – Defense: MLB

Ryan hopes to continue his welding career, in Pittsburgh, after graduation. One day he would like to have his own business and settle down to start a family. His honors include Special Teams MVP, Defensive Back of the Year, Region 2 All-Star, twice District 10 qualifier for Track, three-time D/O qualifier for Wrestling, and Region 4 First-Team All-Star for Track. Ryan wants to play in the Big 30 game to have one last chance to play with his buddies. He wanted to take advantage of every opportunity given. Ryan’s best memory was playing football in the D/O Championship game during his sophomore year. His hobbies include working out, playing golf, spending time with family, riding dirt bikes, and having a good time hanging out with his friends. His favorite football team is the Eagles and his favorite football player is Saquon Barkley.

He is a member of the National Honor Society, a 2024 Otto-Eldred Varsity Baseball Slugger Awardee, and the 2024 Bolivar-Richburg Baseball Tournament All-Star Awardee. He feels that, by electing to in the Big 30 game, he is taking advantage of an incredible opportunity to celebrate his football achievements with his teammates, coaches, friends, and family. It is also a way to make new friends and lasting memories. Jaden’s best football memory was winning the Northern Tier Championship during his senior year. He is an avid outdoorsman. He loves to hunt waterfowl with his yellow lab, Sadie. He also likes to bow hunt, fish, play football, baseball, and shoot trap.
