Alyssa Worthington is Bradford Area High School’s May Career and Technical Student of the Month. Alyssa has accumulated almost 2,000 hours working with children in the last 3 years through the Early Childhood Education Class at BAHS by working at Growing with Grace, Rainbow Corner Preschool at CARE for Children and as a BASD bus aide. She served as the local BAHS president of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and as state vice president of recognition. Alyssa is a member of National Technical Honor Society and still found time to waitress at Beefeaters. She was awarded her national child development associate (CDA) credential in March. Alyssa plans to attend Liberty University online to obtain her early childhood teaching certificate with the hope of teaching third grade.
