Ruthanne Lineman
Ruthanne B. Lineman, 86, of Oxford Street passed away Tuesday (May 27, 2025), surrounded by her family at home.
Born July 9, 1939, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Raymond A. and Lucille E. (Jarrett) Burritt. She was a 1957 graduate of Bradford High School.
On Dec. 21, 1957, at First Church of the Nazarene she married Edward D. Lineman, who preceded her in death on July 23, 2014.
Ruthanne was a lifetime member of First Church of the Nazarene where she served on the board of directors and was past president of the local Nazarene Missions ministry. She taught Sunday school for many years as well as Bible school. She was also an active member of the Eldred Koinonia.
She enjoyed painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing, cake decorating and reading.
Surviving are four sons, Brian Lineman of Bradford, Jeffrey (Dawn) Lineman of Nampa, Idaho, and Craig Lineman and Nathan Lineman, both of Bradford; eight grandchildren, Michael McKee, Katie Leon, Kelly Leavell, Shawn Lineman, Tarrell Um, Paul Lineman, James Lineman and Joshua Lineman; nine great-grandchildren, Demitri Leon, Maximus Leon, Hailey Leon, Declan Leavell, Eliza Lineman, Ava Lineman, Savannah Lineman, Aiden Um and Audrey Um; one sister, Pamela Holmes of Russell; one sister-in-law, Marian Lineman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marti Carlson.
Family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, at First Church of the Nazarene, where a celebration of life will immediately follow with the Rev. Joshua Haney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
