Millville celebrates 150 with donation to SPCA
As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, Millville Insurance donated $1,100 to the McKean County SPCA in honor of Be Kind to Animals Month.
The company partnered with local agencies — Marshall Insurance of Bradford, Bayline Insurance of Port Allegany and Petruzzi Insurance of Eldred — to make the joint donation to the SPCA.The contribution will help further the organization’s mission of providing care, shelter and advocacy for animals in need.
Founded in 1875 and headquartered in Millville, Millville Insurance has built a legacy on its guiding principles: Be Kind. Be Useful. Be Professional. That legacy continues today through partnerships that strengthen local communities and uphold the company’s commitment to compassionate service, officials said.
“We’re proud to join forces with these trusted local insurance agencies to support the important work the SPCA does each and every day,” said a Millville Insurance spokesperson. “Their dedication to animal welfare reflects the very values we’ve stood by for 150 years.”
The donation is one of several initiatives planned throughout 2025 as Millville Insurance celebrates its sesquicentennial year by investing in local causes and honoring the people — and pets — that make these Pennsylvania communities strong.
