Detour in St. Marys for water, sewer project
CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a water line and sewer line project impacting Washington Street (Route 1003) in the City of St. Marys, Elk County, will begin Thursday.
This work is being completed by the city and is not associated with a PennDOT project.
The contractor will close Washington Street at the Fourth Street intersection and implement a detour using Route 255, Taft Road (Route 1002) and Windfall Road (Route 1003). Cars will be allowed to enter Washington Street from the north to Rightmeyer Road, then Lawrence Street. This detour will last from into early July.
