Headley Award winners
The $500 2025 Pastor Randy Headley Memorial Award for Community Service went to Port Allegany senior Lily Madison. Students Charli Moses and Kaydence Stuckey in seventh grade, Avery Burford and Christian Reed in eighth grade, Noah Lynch and Maddin Nelson in ninth grade and Lillianne Reed in 10th grade each received $100. Headley, who served in the U.S. Marines and worked in sales before entering the ministry in 1991. He served United Methodist churches in the Kane District, including Port Allegany and Roulette. Headley loved serving his church and community and loved spending time with and supporting the youth of the community. This award, representatives said, is given to help keep his memory alive and to encourage more youth involvement in service to their school, community and churches.
