Bradford Ecumenical Home recently celebrated National Long Term Nursing Care Week. Among many activities planned throughout the week, residents and staff marked National Dance Like a Chicken Day with visiting chickens from Percy and Pals. The chickens up and raced to Tracy Burgess, their owner and self proclaimed “Chicken Mama,” who was at the other end of the room shaking their treat bag. The chickens raced a few times and then received pets from everyone for their hard work. A very big chicken led everyone in the chicken dance at the end.
