Our Legacy Fund announces second grant cycle
The Our Legacy Fund Committee announced the launch of its second grant cycle dedicated to supporting and empowering nonprofit organizations through strategic financial contributions. The committee’s mission, representatives said, “is to foster impactful social change, advance equity, encourage sustainability within our communities, and identify unmet needs to ensure that communities can thrive by partnering with nonprofits that demonstrate effective solutions to critical issues.”
The fund was established and is overseen by American Refining Group Inc. employees.
Applications are now being accepted. This grant cycle offers up to $100,000 in funding, with individual grants valued at up to $10,000. There are three grant types available: small/simple grants, emergency grants and large namesake grants. The deadline for submission is May 30.
The application process will be administered by the McKean County Community Foundation, a nonprofit grantmaking organization that collaborates with donors to achieve their philanthropic goals while enhancing the quality of life for the region’s residents. Grants are available to any local schools or municipalities and faith-based or nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations.
Grant requests can be submitted online through the McKean County Community Foundation at mckeancountyfoundation.org. If you recognize a need within the community, don’t hesitate to reach out to the McKean County Community Foundation or Our Legacy Fund via email at arg-ourlegacyfund@amref.com.
