Over the weekend, Angell swore-in Phillips to the active Army as a military police officer as a second lieutenant, and Borowsky received the young lieutenant’s first salute. Tradition has the new officer present a silver dollar to the first enlisted man to salute. The ceremony took place at Bucknell University.
