When your car breaks down on a back road in the middle of the night, it’s not just a tow you need — it’s someone you can trust.
Bud’s Towing and Recovery aims to be that someone for drivers in the region. Known for their quick response times, reliable service and no-nonsense work ethic, Bud’s has built a reputation as a go-to business to call when the unexpected happens on the road.
‘We pride ourselves on customer service,’ said Bud McKinney, co-owner of the business alongside Kyle Davis. ‘We aim to get customers off the side of the roadway as quickly as possible and into a safe location.’
In a sticky situation? From breakdowns to lockouts, the team at Bud’s Towing and Recovery are always up for a challenge. Located at 49 Susquehanna Drive in Custer City, they can handle small and medium duty towing jobs in addition to roadside assistance and recovery. If you need their help, call (814) 3313260.
Every day puts forth a new challenge, but that is something McKinney and Davis enjoy about their work.
‘You never know what each day is going to bring,’ said McKinney.
‘We deal with tows as they come because every job is different.’
The secret to success is in treating every customer like a member of his own family, McKinney said.
‘We never want to leave people broken down alongside the road for a minute longer than we have to,’ said McKinney.
‘We strive to get to sites as quickly as possible and get people out of danger.’
Bud’s Towing and Recovery has been operating since last September.
Davis and McKinney work in shifts to ensure drivers have a lifeline open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
‘We never turn anything down,’ said Davis. ‘If you need help, we have your back.’
The pair are already seeing success. The business is on the upswing, having already expanded.
‘We started out with one truck in a very small building but thanks to
