Oath of honor
Our elected state and federal officials take an oath of office, many with their hand on a Bible. Common in these oaths is a venerated commitment to preserve, protect, defend and support the Constitution of the United States.
We are all aware of Donald Trump’s disregard for our nation’s constitution. What steps are our elected representatives taking to force President Trump to follow our constitution? How many are supporting him in dismantling our democracy?
I challenge President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick, U.S. Rep. Glenn Thompson, state Rep. Martin Causer, and state Sen. Cris Dush to explain to we the people why they have decided to abandon their sacred oath. If they cannot support our constitution, I call on each to resign as they have failed in the duties they asked us to elect them to perform.
We observed officials taking these oaths. Where is the honor?
