(TNS) — It’s true — a fan favorite Dr. Pepper flavor is back in stores.

Reports surfaced in January that the “Creamy Coconut” flavor of Dr.Pepper would return to groceries and retailers alike. Well, the wait is over as it appears the flavor is officially for sale once more.

Food blogger Markie Devo posted to Instagram on May 3 to reveal sightings of the popular soda flavor.

“It’s about forking time,” Devo wrote. “Dr.

Pepper Creamy Coconut is back in action in both full-sugar and Zero.”

The fan-favorite flavor was initially released in 2024 as a summer exclusive, featuring “a combination of distinctive Dr Pepper flavor with the refreshing taste of coconut,” according to reports from Parade. Fans of the summer-esque drink said in the comments of Devo’s post that they are quite excited about the flavors’ return.

Some are even planning on stocking up.

“Great news! never got to try this last year,” one fan wrote. Another stated, “This is what dreams are made of!!!! I’m set to buy about 50 twelve packs to last me until next summer! My go-to was ALWAYS Cherry Coke until this hit the shelves. I still have (2) 12 packs I’ve been holding onto and drinking slowly… lol”
