Kane beats Bradford baseball, Bradford & Coudy softball victorious

Kyle Zook belted a home run to left field and had two RBIs to key Kane’s 5-2 victory Monday over Bradford.
Earning the mound win was Brock Wensel, who struck out six and walked two while giving up four hits.
Tarren Reese was on the mound for the Owls, striking out three and walking two while surrendering six hits.
Leading Bradford at bat were Brody Haviland and Evan Whitmore, each with an RBI. BASEBALL Coudersport 16, Smethport 5 SMETHPORT — Danny VanVladricken went 2-for-5 with six RBIs to lead the Falcons to Monday’s win.
For Coudersport, Lawson Wetzel earned the mound win, striking out 10, walking five and giving up two hits.
On the mound for Smethport was Aiden Tanner, who walked seven and struck out 10 while giving up two hits.
For Smethport Colin Riekofsky doubled and had an RBI while Rylan Shields also added an RBI.
Port Allegany 6, Northern Potter 0 PORT ALLEGANY — Kellen Veilluex keyed the Gators to a win Monday, going 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Also leading Port Allegany were Tyler Carinci, Aiden Bliss, and Chase Boyd, each with a hit.
Derek Smith and Levi Howard shared the mound for Port Allegany, striking out nine, walking four and throwing a combined no-hitter.
C Snyder suffered the mound loss, striking out none, walking five and giving up one hit.
Otto-Eldred 6, Oswayo Valley 2 ULYSSES — Ryan Schenfield and Jaden Prince each had two hits for the Terrors and Schenfield had two RBIs.
Also leading O-E was Jared Obenrader with two RBIs.
Obenrader earned the mound win as well, striking out six and walking two while only giving up two hits.
On the mound for the Green Wave was Drayden Norton, who gave up four hits, struck out eight and walked four.
Leading OV was Luke Karr with an RBI and Isaiah Goode, who went 2-for-3.
SOFTBALL Bradford 15, Kane 0 Bradford used five-run second and third innings to guarantee Monday’s win over Kane.
At bat for the Lady Owls, Alyssa Johnson went 3-for-3 with four RBIs.
Earning the mound win was Daisy Greene, who struck out seven and walked one while surrendering one hit.
For Kane, Kyleight McGuire suffered the mound loss, striking out one and walking six while giving up 11 hits.
Leading Kane at the plate was Macy Bell, who went 1-for-2.
Coudersport 20, Smethport 4 SMETHPORT — Hannah Fleniken had a home run and four RBIs to lead Coudersport.
The Lady Falcons used a 12-run first inning to take the lead and set up for Monday’s win. Also leading the Coudersport offense were Claire Daisley, who went 3-for-4 with a double and five RBIs and Laura Dunn, who went 4-for-4 with three RBIs.
Fleniken earned the mound win, striking out six and walking seven while pitching a no-hitter. J. Miller took the mound loss, striking out one and walking 11 while giving up 17 hits.
Northern Potter 4, Port Allegany 3 PORT ALLEGANY — S Risser went 3-for-3 while Lily Steele and Kayla Hyde each had an RBI to pace Northern Potter.
On the mound for NoPo was Jaylyn Williammee, who struck out 12 and walked none while tossing a one-hitter.
Bria Wilcox suffered the mound loss, striking out 10 and giving up five hits while walking seven.
Otto-Eldred 12, Oswayo Valley 2 ULYSSES — Rayel Hakes doubled and earned the mound win as Otto-Eldred defeated Oswayo Valley.
Hakes struck out 12 and walked two while giving up four hits.
On the mound for OV, Eva West struck out seven, walked 10 and gave up seven hits.
Leading OV were MaKenna Manning and Layla Willow, each with an RBI.
