Corignani, Curcio lead Lady Owls at Hermitage Invitational
HERMITAGE — Aliya Corignani finished fourth in the 300 hurdles and Eliana Curcio was fourth in the triple jump for Bradford Saturday at the City of Hermitage Invitational.
Corignani finished in 48.93 and Curcio had a distance of 31’4.75”.
“We had many good marks, despite very bad weather conditions. It felt more like early March,” Bradford coach Larry Stillman said. “Lillian had her best throw of the year in the javelin to medal. Aliya had another very good day with two medals and an excellent time in the 300 hurdles. We got back senior jumper Eliana Curcio and she took fourth in the triple jump. Emma Pilon fought off very bad winds to medal in the high jump and Olivia Funk made finals in the 100 hurdles.”
