Bradford Blue (1-0), sponsored by the Blaisdell Foundation came up victorious Tuesday night in their matchup with Shinglehouse.

On the mound for Bradford was Eli Haynoski. He went the distance giving up three hits while striking out 12 batters allowing only one walk.

Leading the team offensively was Mason Haynoski who had a two RBI double and finished the night 2 for 2 with three RBI’s. Eli Hayonoski was also 2 for 2. Kaiden Christjohn, Caleb Weart, and Brycen Green all had hits for Bradford.

Shinglehouse was led by Evan McCleaft who hit a two run homerun and Ace Geiger who added two hits. Brently Willetts and Joseph Welch combined to give up seven hits and struck out 12 batters allowing four walks.

Bradford travels to Smethport Thursday.

Cole Smith went 3-for-5 with a double for Bradford Red.

On the mound for Bradford Red were Griffin Atteberry (4 strikeouts), Bentlee Confer (6 strikeouts), Will Pantuso (2 strikeouts) and Brock Crappio (3 strikeouts) who combined to give up four hits.

Sharing the mound loss were Carson Tronetti, Cameron Carlson and Timmy Austin with eight strikeouts.
