Bradford’s Main Street Manager Anita Dolan is moving up in Bradford City government. On Tuesday evening, following Bradford City Council, Sara Andrews, executive director of the Office of Economic and Community Development, announced that effective June 1, Dolan will be the economic development/community development coordinator for the OECD. Dolan will replace Debbie Huston Walter, who is retiring after nearly 24 years with the OECD.

Sgt. Gail P. Strauss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond P. Brown of Coudersport, was decorated with the U.S. Air Force Commendation Medal in recent ceremonies at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. An air traffic control technician now serving with the 2002 communications Squadron of Altus, she was cited for meritorious service at Kadena AB, Okinawa.

Plans are rapidly being completed for staging the financial campaign in connection with the drive for the proposed Community Athletic Field. Members of the executive committee are busy securing representatives of all the city’s industrial plants and retail and wholesale stories to act on a special finance committee to boost the sale of tickets for the home talent plan ‘Dulcy’ and to raise a general fund.
