The TOPS 16 weekly meeting was held at First Presbyterian Church on East Corydon Street on Wednesday.
The meeting was called to order by leader Dianna Lewis with the TOPS Pledge and the song, “Take Me Out of the Bakery.”
Weight recorder Carole VanSickle and co-leader Jeanne Lowe weighed in 14 members. Four members were excused and two members for calories.
The best loser was Nan Stoling, who also was recognized for 13 weeks without gain. Best loser in waiting is Jeanne Miller and the officer is Dianna Lewis. The calorie chart was won by Jeanne Lowe. The March monthly weigh-in included seven eligible with a loss of 13.4 pounds.
The food to avoid is rice. The nickelodeon was pastries and doughnuts.
The fruit is apples and the vegetable is snap peas.
The inspiration was by Elaine Harris, the household tip by Chris McCracken, the joke by Jeanne Lowe and Elaine Harris and the smile by Jessie Skillman.
The secretary’s report was by Nan Stoling.
The program was by Dianna Lewis, who led a name game using members’ last names and how the letters pertain to Tops. Members did a walking exercise.
The meeting was adjourned with the friendship circle and TOPS Prayer.
TOPS meetings are held Wednesdays with weigh-ins from 11 to 12:55 p.m. The meeting is from 1 to 1:45 p.m. There is a handicap ramp by the side door of the parking lot.
