The United Way of the Bradford Area has awarded the first round of Quarterly Impact funding. Agencies receiving first-quarter funding are the McKean County Special Olympics (aquatics), Bradford Landmark Society (general services), A Partnership in Housing (homeless essentials bags) and the Community Veterans Engagement Board (veteran care packages).
Quarterly Impact funds are available throughout the year for qualifying 501©3 organizations in Bradford, Smethport and Port Allegany. Impact grant applications are capped at $1,500 per request and are subject to availability of funds.
The second quarterly round of grants will be open during April with submissions due April 30.
