UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State Extension is seeking individuals and organizations to present at the 2025 Dive Deeper Summit for water educators, scheduled for Sept. 25 in Harrisburg. A preconference field study and evening reception will occur Sept. 24.
Dive Deeper is an every-other-year conference for anyone who teaches about water, whether in the classroom, on the lake shore, in the woods or at the city playground. This full-day conference features hands-on workshops, networking, educational exhibits and guest speakers.
Numerous time slots are available for 45-50-minute concurrent session presentations at the summit. The focus of this conference is to strengthen the capacity of educators to teach youth about water, water ecosystems, aquatic life and related topics. Organizers will consider all water-related proposals, but listed some potential topic ideas:
