Weed Man Revamps Strategy to Target $1 Billion in System Sales

TORONTO, Feb. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Weed Man – the fastest growing lawn care company in North America – has unveiled an ambitious strategy to become a $1 billion company. This bold goal follows a transformative year of initiatives, including a comprehensive brand refresh, significant franchise expansion, and an ongoing digital transformation, all guided by CEO Jen Lemcke’s extensive industry expertise.

In 2024, Weed Man concluded the year as an over $387 million system-wide business in the US, driven by franchisee growth and community engagement. This milestone highlights the strength of Weed Man’s proven business model and reflects the sustained double-digit growth of its franchise network. The brand celebrated 16 franchise expansions and four new locations. This reinvestment reflects franchisee satisfaction and underscores the scalability of Weed Man’s proven business model. Comprehensive training, marketing, and operational systems enabled franchisees to grow profitably while delivering consistent, high-quality service.

“We’re reimagining every aspect of our business to meet the needs of today’s franchisees and customers while laying the groundwork for a stronger future,” said Lemcke. “This isn’t just about reaching a number; it’s about building a Weed Man network that grows and thrives together.”

Brand Refresh: “It’s Weed Man for the Win”

Weed Man’s new brand refresh reintroduced the company’s dynamic personality in a series of creative digital and print advertisements, as well as a cohesive content strategy for social media, customer resources, and more. The “It’s Weed Man for the Win” campaign highlights the high stakes, steep competition, and storybook action of the lawn care game, emphasizing the confidence and success customers can expect from Weed Man as a coach and teammate.

    Digital Transformation

Weed Man has invested heavily in technology to streamline operations and enhance customer experiences. This ongoing digital transformation, which is already underway, will equip franchisees with tools that optimize franchise management and service delivery while improving efficiencies system-wide.

    Inaugural Grassroots Giving Food Drive

In 2024, for the first time in Weed Man’s history, franchisees across Weed Man came together to conduct a brand-wide give-back initiative: Grassroots Giving. The fall food drive invited Weed Man customers to donate shelf-stable, non-perishable food and household items—like canned goods, pasta, rice, and peanut butter—conveniently during their regularly scheduled fall lawn care services. The donations were collected by our technicians and delivered to local food banks, directly benefiting community members in need. Together, across the US and Canada, Weed Man franchises amassed an incredible 76,000 pounds of food — that’s an estimated 64,000 meals!

    Positioned for Long-Term Success

Lemcke attributes Weed Man’s sustained growth to a strong foundation of franchisee satisfaction and system-wide support. “Our franchisees are our greatest asset. Their confidence in our brand and their willingness to reinvest have been critical to our success,” Lemcke said. Weed Man is prepared to meet the road to $1 billion head-on. “With a focus on leadership development, technology, and scalability, we’re confident we can continue delivering exceptional results as we scale toward $1 billion,” added Lemcke.
