Tamara Koridze (captain of Prestige: Watch & Jewelry) retained first on board 1 after round six. Ben Gross (captain of A Slice of the 80s) vies for second with Chris Przygoda (captain of Hennard’s Construction).
On the second board in the Varsity Division, Rick Weinberg (playing for Hennard’s Construction) holds on to first. Don Anthony (playing for A Slice of the 80s) maintains second on board 2.
Dr. Jakub Wojcik (captained by Aiden Ferguson) still leads the JV Division teams, as Hamlin Bank (captained by Daria Cavallo) maintains second. American Refining Group (captained by Ki Ferguson) moves into a tie for third with Prestige: Awards & Engraving (captained by Matthew Wareham).
John Paul Cavallo (captain of OneUp Chiropractic PLLC) ties with Aiden Ferguson (captain of Dr. Wojcik) for first on board 1 of the JV Division. Sylvia Bysiek (captain of Burns & Burns Insurance) holds second. In a three-way tie for third are: Juliana Bysiek (captain of Lang Surveying LLC), Daria Cavallo (captain of Hamlin Bank) and Ki Ferguson (captain of American Refining Group).
Sean Kramer (playing for Sera Enterprises LLC) moves into a first place tie on board 2 of the JV Division with Sheryl Waterman (playing for Prestige: Awards & Engraving). Caleb Nolder (playing for Dr. Luis Gonzalez) takes the second place position. Elaina Ferguson (playing for Togi’s Restaurant) vies for third with Aidan McCarty (playing for Hamlin Bank).
There was no meeting of the chess club Jan. 22. Round seven will take place at School Street Elementary on Wednesday.
