NEW YORK — Dr. Muhammed Javed of Kaleida Health and Olean General Hospital was named trustee and vice chair of the Healthcare Trustees of New York State’s board of governors.
HTNYS announced its 2025 officers and two new board members this week.
Javed is a board-certified nephrologist who has practiced in both the Bradford, Pa., and Olean communities for more than 30 years. He’s currently serving as the medical director for dialysis units, DaVita Healthcare in Bradford and Marie Lorenz Dialysis Unit in Olean.
Javed also is very active in the local communities having served on the board of directors for the YMCA of the Twin Tiers and Olean General Hospital Foundation as well as currently serving as the chairman of the UAHS board of directors. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his nephrology fellowship at SUNY Downstate.
