DUBOIS — The Bradford High swim teams traveled to DuBois on Friday, with the girls falling 90.5-33.5, while the boys dropped a 59-33 decision.
“We had some decent swims, but unfortunately did not have the numbers needed to defeat DuBois,” said Bradford coach Erika Close.
The girls 200 medley relay team of Addison Benson, Isabella Rhoades, Rylann Terwilliger and Shyla Williams took third place (2:20.12), while the 200 freestyle relay team with the same four swimmers took second (2:04.43).
Rhoades won the 50 freestyle (26:74) and 100 backstroke (1:07.83), while Benson, a freshman, was third in the 200 IM (3:03.21) and Terwilliger tied for second in the 100 freestyle (1:03.12).
Williams also won the 500 freestyle (7:56.73).
For the boys, Sean Storer took first in the 200 freestyle (2:02.73) and first in the 100 butterfly with a season-best time of 58.46.
Also for the boys, Joe Cary won the 100 freestyle (1:03.12) and was third in the 50 freestyle (27.40), while Matthew Galbrath won the 100 backstroke (1:22.22) and was second in the 500 freestyle (6:48.51).
The Owls will be home on Tuesday, Jan. 14 against Brookville at 6 p.m.
