INDIANA, Pa. — Kelsie Alexander of Kane, graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, will be honored for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average as an undergraduate student.
Alexander, a criminology pre-law major, will be recognized during the ceremony for her academic achievement.
Daughter of Todd and Julie Alexander, she is a 2021 graduate of Kane Area High School. She is the recipient of an Academic Excellence Scholarship and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. She was a Big Hearts Little Hands volunteer.
A total of 563 graduates who have completed academic requirements for their degrees in December and January 2025 will be part of the ceremony, which will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on the university’s YouTube channel; links to the broadcasts are available on the IUP Commencement website, iup.edu/commencement. After the event, the video recorded during the livestream will be available on the website. The webcast will begin 15 minutes before the actual start of the ceremony.
