Entrepreneurs Forever will host an informational event Thursday, welcoming existing small business owners to its program launch in McKean County.
The program, which representatives said is the only one of its kind in the country, is funded by a recent grant secured by Sen. Bob Casey. It curates small business owners into long-term peer groups that meet monthly for three years to provide mutual support and facilitate business growth.
McKean County’s launch of the no-cost, non-profit program dedicated to the growth and support of local small business owners will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Guidance Center’s Community & Training Center, 24 W. Washington St. It is hosted by Entrepreneurs Forever in partnership with Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce, McKean County Economic Development, Bradford Area Alliance and Kane Area Development Center.
Participants will be able to interact with McKean County’s small business community, meeting local owners and chambers of commerce representatives while learning more about Entrepreneurs Forever’s peer-to-peer support. The event, which is open to small business owners and partners, will feature interactive activities, discussions and a presentation highlighting program benefits. Food and beverages will be provided.
Registration is available on the program website, entrepreneursforever.org.
