ST. MARYS — The Elk County Democratic Committee will hold its annual summer picnic Saturday, with all three state row office candidates as guests, and will meet today to finalize plans.
The committee will meet at 7 p.m. today at its Victory 2024 Headquarters at 210 Brusselles St. to finalize plans for the picnic and discuss other committee business.
The picnic will be held at Bendigo State Park in Wilcox at Pavilion 3, beginning at noon. All area Democrats are urged to attend.
Eugene DePasquale, Democrat candidate for state attorney general, Malcolm Kenyatta, Democrat candidate for state auditor general, and Erin McClelland, Democrat candidate for state treasurer, will be joined by Zach Womer, candidate for U.S. Congress, and William McGill, candidate for state senate, to meet the voters.
The candidates will also talk about candidates for U.S. Senate, Bob Casey and for President, Kamala Harris.
The committee will provide main dishes, place settings and bottled water. They ask those attending to bring a dish to pass. A donation of $10 is appreciated to help cover the committee’s costs. The Elk County picnic is one of seven events across the PA Wilds region next weekend with statewide candidates planning to attend all events.
