HARRISBURG – State Rep. Mike Armanini, R-DuBois, and St Marys-based social service organization Life and Independence for Today (L.I.F.T.) invite residents of the six-county area they serve to attend the Disability and Senior Resource Expo they will co-host 9 a.m. to noon July 23 at Elk County Catholic High School, 600 Maurus St., St Marys.
“My staff and I have really enjoyed partnering with L.I.F.T. over the last few years to put on this great event,” Armanini said. “We’re looking forward to doing so again and appreciate all the local businesses who are coming out to showcase what they do for the community.”
More than 50 vendors in the form of area service providers, state agencies and local businesses will be on hand. Admission to the event, which is a significant source of information for consumers and caregivers, is free, and a “lunch to go” will be served.
