ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Colt Stewart of Duke Center and Noah Leightley of Austin were among 4,500 students to earn their degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology in May.

Stewart earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in film and animation. Leightley completed a Bachelor of Science in computer science.

Stewart was also among several local students named to the dean’s list at RIT for the spring 2024 semester. Also named to the list were Ryan Clouser of Coudersport, civil engineering technology; Jon Mishic of Kane, computer science; Colin Conneely of Bradford, management information systems; and Kayden Miller of Ludlow, management information systems.

BEREA, Ohio — Taylor Emerson of Smethport, Pa., a graduate of Port Allegany High School, graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education.

WILKES-BARRE — Ava Wahlers of Coudersport was named to the dean’s list at Wilkes University for the spring 2024 semester.

Students must obtain a minimum 3.5 grade point average and carry at least 12 credits.
