Agreement gives Pitt-Bradford seniors early acceptance at Neumann

A new agreement gives some seniors at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford early admission to graduate programs at Neumann University in Aston.

Pitt-Bradford seniors with a grade point average of 3.0 or better in their undergraduate program may apply to any Neumann master’s degree program after Aug. 1 in their senior year to receive advance acceptance upon completion of their bachelor’s degree.

Those who earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher at Pitt-Bradford can receive direct admission into graduate programs at Neumann if other admission criteria are met.

“We are excited to partner with Neumann University to provide Pitt-Bradford graduates with streamlined access to several graduate programs at Neumann University leading to the Master of Science degree,” said Dr. James Baldwin, vice president of enrollment management at Pitt-Bradford. “Among some of the highly sought after majors are accounting (with forensics and fraud detection emphasis), athletic training, cybersecurity, sport business, business and organizational leadership, medical laboratory science, education and forensic psychology.”

Founded in 1965, Neumann is a private Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition, which emphasizes respect for individuals, concern for the environment and social responsibility. It is located outside Philadelphia in Delaware County.

Pitt-Bradford students interested in taking advantage of this agreement can attend an in-person graduate open house June 5 at Neumann. For more information, visit www.neumann.edu/graduate.
