    PennDOT posts four-county work schedule

CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced its schedule of maintenance activities in McKean, Elk, Potter and Cameron counties for the week of May 13.

In MCKEAN COUNTY, manual patching is slated on Route 155 from Port Allegany to the intersection of Route 446 in Eldred Township all week. Flaggers will control traffic.

Pipe replacing and cleaning is on tap at various sites on Route 46 from the Cameron County line to Bradford and on Route 59 from the Warren County line to Smethport. Flaggers will direct traffic.

Vegetation management is set all week on Route 321 from the intersection of Route 346 to the Elk County line all week, and beginning Friday on Route 155 in Liberty Township, north of Port Allegany, to the Potter County line.

In ELK COUNTY, bridge maintenance and cleaning will occur on Route 219 between Old Klondike Road in Ridgway Township and Grant Street in Johnsonburg Borough, Monday to Wednesday, then on Route 66 between Lamont and Old Lamont roads in Highland Township Thursday and Friday. Flaggers will control traffic.

Crack seal and hot pour mastic operations are slated all week for Route 219 between the Elk and McKean county line in Jones Township and Powers Avenue (Route 255) in Johnsonburg Borough. Expect flaggers.

Pipe cleaning and replacement is due all week on the Bootjack Truck Lane of Route 219 in Ridgway borough and township as well as Tambine/Long Level Road (Route 4003) in Ridgway Township. Flaggers in the roadway will provide traffic control during daylight hours.

In POTTER COUNTY, expect flaggers to control traffic for maintenance and cleaning of bridges across the entirety of routes 6, 872 and 3001.

Manual patching is set for Route 244 from Route 44 in Oswayo and Genesee townships to Whitesville Road at the New York state line and Route 4021 from Academy Street in Shinglehouse to the state line Wednesday through Friday, as well as Route 4017 from McKean County to Shinglehouse and Route 4019 from Ceres Street in Shinglehouse to New York on Monday and Tuesday.

Pipe replacement and cleaning is scheduled on Route 1005 from Tioga County line to Dent Hollow Road in Pike and Hector townships Tuesday through Friday.

Shoulder maintenance will be conducted on Route 1011 from North Street in Ulysses to Genesee Mill Road on Monday and Tuesday, on Route 1012 from Hickox/Ulysses Road to Route 49 in Bingham Township on Wednesday and Route 1013 from Hickox/Ulysses Road to the state line Thursday.

In CAMERON COUNTY, crack seal and hot pour mastic operations are on tap for Route 120 from the intersections of Moore Hill Road in Shippen Township and Sterling Run Road in Lumber Township all week. Watch for vegetation management going on throughout the county all week.

This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen interruptions.
