Park bridge will close Monday

The pedestrian bridge crossing Bennett Brook from the Poplin Avenue parking lot to Callahan Park will be closed beginning Monday as work begins on its replacement. Chip Comilla, Bradford City Parks and Recreation director, said workers hope to have the bridge replaced “in time for pool season,” which generally coincides with summer break in the district.
