Bradford City Department of Public Works and the city Tree Board were back in action this week, planting more trees with funding from TreePennsylvania. The 10 additional trees deposited throughout the city were among 1,000 trees planted across the commonwealth Wednesday using TreePA funds. Shown, crews plant one of two trees in a city lot on the corner of Leland and Jefferson streets. The saplings are hardwood trees indigenous to Pennsylvania that when mature will stand 50 to 75 feet tall, Tree Board volunteer president Ron Binder said.
