Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department and Bradford City ambulance were dispatched at 3:56 p.m. to a one-vehicle accident on South Avenue near the Lewis Run borough line. A pickup truck left the roadway and sheared off a Verizon utility pole. The driver of the vehicle was transported by ambulance to a helicopter landing zone at the Lewis Run Volunteer Fire Department set up by Lewis Run volunteer firefighters. STAT MedEvac helicopter transported the patient to a hospital out of the area. Bradford Township Police investigated.
