SMETHPORT — Public and private pesticide applicators can acquire recertification credits by attending an agronomic pesticide update workshop offered by Penn State Extension.
The McKean County update meeting will be held 7 to 9 p.m. March 12 at the McKean County Emergency Services training center at 17175 Route 6 West. Featured topics will include spray nozzle selection, specific herbicides, Atrazine stewardship, and the disease year in review.
The Penn State Extension Agronomic Pesticide Update is a traditional Core (two credits) and Category (two credits) session for private pesticide applicators. However, any applicator may attend.
