KERSEY — Representatives from the Commonwealth’s overseas trade offices will be in Kersey March 13 for an event at the Red Fern Banquet and Conference Center.

The representatives will be available to meet with companies interested in or currently working within the international arena.

Representation will include the markets of Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic/Eastern Europe, Germany, India, Israel. Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore/Asean Region, South Korea, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

The “Bringing the World to You” event affords local companies an opportunity to interact with, ask questions and engage the various offices on a variety of trade and export-related issues via prescheduled appointments. This event also provides an introduction to the assistance provided by North Central and the Commonwealth’s programs. This event answers the questions, “Who are the overseas offices and what can they do for our local companies?” Additionally, companies who have already established their international markets can discuss how they can enhance their current trade related activities.

The event will be held by North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission, in conjunction with the Department of Community and Economic Development, Office of International Business Development.
