Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania invites community members to support their local girl entrepreneurs for a limited time this March.
Using the Girl Scout Cookie Finder, consumers can enter their zip code to locate a nearby booth sale or to order cookies from a local troop for direct shipment to their front door.
The 2024 national Girl Scout Cookie season theme, Unbox the Future, aims to remove social barriers that often keep girls boxed in. The Girl Scout Cookie Program provides girl-led experiences, giving girls the opportunity to kickstart their limitless, barrier-breaking futures ‘outside the box’ by learning transferable life skills including goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
Proceeds from the cookie program help western Pennsylvania Girl Scouts fund invaluable experiences like attending summer camp, going on fun field trips and spearheading meaningful community service projects. As consumers open their favorite package of Girl Scout Cookies, they are unboxing the future for girls in their community.
Last year, Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania sent more than 52,000 packages of cookies to our U.S. military active duty and veteran service members through our councilwide gift of caring program, Operation: Sweet Appreciation. This program has expanded this year to include local law enforcement and firefighters, in addition to active military and veterans. Connect with your local Girl Scouts to donate cookies.
Behind every Girl Scouts Cookie purchase is a Girl Scout exploring her leadership potential, building lifelong friendships and making the world around her a better place. To learn more about Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, visit gswpa.org.
