MOUNT JEWETT — Kinzua Bridge State Park will host a variety of programs in March.
Take a Native Plant Walk around the main park area at 11 a.m. Saturday. Meet in front of the Visitor Center.
Take a Green Walk to see what plants stay green all winter along the General Kane Trail at 11 a.m. March 16. Meet in the overflow parking lot.
Solar Eclipse Tips will be held at 1 p.m. March 16 and March 23, then at 10 a.m. March 30, to prepare for the total solar eclipse that will be visible April 8. Learn about eclipses and tips for how to safely view the solar eclipse.
Stroll out on the Skywalk to watch the sunrise on the Early Rise Walk at 6:45 a.m. March 31. Enjoy hot chocolate and coffee in the classroom afterward. The building will open early for this weather-dependent special event.
