The McKean County Rifle Club will host the annual Eskimo Shoot and Ax Throw on Saturday February 17, 2024.

Events will include shoots involving shotguns, rifles, pistols as well as an ax throw. Shotguns will have five shots at clays, any .22 Rifle or pistols (any sights) will both be 10 shots offhand and the ax throw will consist of five throws.

Awards will be given to individuals in each event and for aggregate, as well as for Juniors, Seniors, women and for three-member teams.

Lunch and snacks will be provided by attendees. Registration starts at 11 a.m. and the shoot will begin at noon.

All members are urged to attend and to bring a guest and a dish to share. Any interested shooters are welcome.
