Through the fourth week of the Bradford Youth Basketball League, Blake Luciano and the Red Raiders refuse to go down, picking up two more wins. Nearing the halfway point in the season, teams are looking to catch up while vying for the second seed.
Results from Week 4 are as follow:

Bradford VFW Tar Heels
The Bonnies’ fourth quarter comeback narrowly defeated the Tar Heels, denying them their first win of the season.
Finding themselves down five points going into the final quarter of play, the Bonnies ignited a 12-6 revival led by Brock Crappio, who recorded nine points to complete the victory.
Crappio ended with 25 points, with Paul Luzzi ended with nine points in the win. Magnus Milller carried the Tar Heels offensive effort with 13 points, followed by Abram Kuhn’s nine points. Tryston York had five points, Roman Kuhn had four points and Ryder Dempsey had two points in the loss.
Luciano Builders Red Raiders 32, Pennhills Resources Panthers 10
The Red Raiders’ first win of the season came with a blowout, wire-to-wire win that saw the Panthers score only four points in the first half.
Blake Luciano caught fire early, scoring all of the Red Raiders’ 12 first quarter points and ending with 16. Lucas Himes and Gabriel Schuster each had six points while Nigel Bender Jack had four points.
For the Panthers, Carter Roberts scored five points, Cameron Butler had three points and Samuel Benson had two.

Troisi CPA Wildcats 32
The Jayhawks narrowly outlasted the Wildcats, spoiling Cooper Burns’ 22 point night.
Burns carried the Wildcats on the offensive side of the ball, knocking down two triples and scoring in every quarter but unable to put his team in front. Alongside Burns, Will Pantuso had four points, while the trio of Jameis Furlong, Daniel Meister and Keith Watts all had two points in the loss.
The Jayhawks saw scoring by way of committee, with seven players finding the bottom of the net. Roman Aiello reached double-digit figures with 10 points including two 3-pointers. Lucas Vecchio followed closely behind with seven points while Eli Haynoski and Vedder Silvis both had six. Mason Haynoski, Cooper Swank and Michael Ferchak all ended with two points.

The Jayhawks evened out the weekend by adding another win to their record, with two players reaching double-digit points.
Lucas Vecchio led the way with 15 points, followed by Roman Aiello’s 11 which included three made shots from behind the arc. Mason Haynoski had eight points while his brother Eli had six. Elias Engstrom and Vedder Silvis both scored two points in the win.
The Bonnies offense flowed through Paul Luzzi, who led the team with 11 points. Brock Crappio and Finley Neighbour each had four points and Tommy Winship had two points in the loss.
Luciano Builders Red Raiders 46, Bradford VFW Tar Heels 6
In a dominating end to their weekend, the Red Raiders exploded on both sides of the ball to nearly shut out the Tar Heels, allowing just two points throughout the first half.
Once again, Blake Luciano got off to an incredibly hot start, scoring 13 points in the first quarter. Luciano would go on to finish with 23 points, including a pair of triples, while Lucas Himes tacked on 15 points, eight of which came in the second quarter. Cole Goodreau had six points and Liam Close had two points.
Bradford’s Abram Kuhn ended with five points and Alexander Chapman had one point.
Pennhills Resources Panthers 34,
Troisi CPA Wildcats 26
The Panthers capped off the weekend by earning their fourth win of the season, downing the Wildcats on the shoulders of Kohen Pantuso.
Pantuso’s impressive second half produced a team-high 16 points, pushing the Panthers out in front for good. Samuel Benson had nine points, Carter Roberts had four points, Cameron Butler had three points and Gavin Zetwick had two points.
Cooper Burns ended with 21 points in the loss, his second 20-plus point performance of the weekend, while Jameis Furlong chipped in three points and Keith Watts contributed two points.
