A Derrick City man charged with 40 felonies involving the sexual assault of a child is in McKean County Jail on $250,000 bail.
Harold Kagarise, 48, is charged with five counts each of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, all first-degree felonies; five counts of sexual assault and five counts of a sexual nature on a child less than 13, second-degree felonies; and five counts of corruption of minors, third-degree felonies.
Kagarise was arrested by Bradford City Police Sgt. Seth Shephard and arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther. He was remanded to jail in lieu of bail, and scheduled for Central Court on Nov. 30.
