    Barracudas travel to hostile waters in Week 2

    OIL CITY — Highlighted by the efforts of Kael Riekofsky, Landon Johnson and Bella Rhoades, the Bradford YMCA Swim Team competed in another dual-meet, their first on the road which saw a tightly-fought contest.

    “Oil City has one of the biggest teams in regards to depth, in our league, so we were focused on improving our times and qualifying more of our swimmers for the District meet in March,” said Barracudas head coach Patrick Hollenbeck. “We have a lot of new swimmers this year, but it is nice to see the swimmers improving and coming together as this young season gets started.”

    Swimmers placing in the top three are as followed:

    Quinlan Johnson 2nd 50 free, 2nd 25 breast, 3rd 100 IM; Bodie Rhoades 1st 25 free, 1st 50 free, 2nd 25 back; Isla Nolan 1st 100 free, 2nd 50 free, 3rd 50 back; Marcus Tom 3rd 50 back; Mason James 1st 200 free relay 3rd 50 back; Carsten Tronetti 2nd 100 back, 3rd 50 free, 3rd 50 fly; Micah Johnson 1st 200 Free, 1st 100 back, 2nd 50 fly, 1st 200 free relay ; Ginger Mohr 3rd 100 back; Olivia Rhoades 1st 50 back, 1st 100 back, 1st 200 IM; Kael Riekofsky 1st 100 free, 1st 50 back, 1st 50 fly, 1st 200 free relay; Liam Young 1st 200 free relay, 3rd 100 back; Nolan Wilczewski 2nd 100 free, 3rd 50 free; Blake Randall- Klouw 2nd 50 free, 3rd 100 free, 3rd 100 back; Landon Johnson 1st 200 Free, 1st 100 back, 1st 100 free; Karsyn Gracey-Dalton 3rd 200 Free, 2nd 100 free, 1st 400 IM, 2nd 200 free relay; Kendall Gracey-Dalton 2nd 50 free, 2nd 100 back, 2nd 200 free relay; Peyton Haight 1st 400 IM; Bella Rhoades 1st 200 Free, 1st 100 back, 1st 200 IM, 2nd 200 free relay; Coral Tronetti 3rd 100 free, 2nd 100 free, 2nd 200 IM, 2nd 200 free relay;

    The Barracudas are in action again next weekend when they travel to Warren to compete in the Warren Invitational.
