EMPORIUM — Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library (Cameron County Public Library) is seeking a Cameron County resident to fill a vacancy on its board of trustees.
The interested individual must have an understanding of our community and its needs and be willing to commit their time and effort to a public cause by attending regularly scheduled board meetings, committee meetings and planning sessions.
Public participation benefits all of Cameron County. The board of trustees comprises seven county residents who supervise and administer the overall operation of the Cameron County Public Library. The board meets every other month starting in February.

Letters of interest can also be dropped off in person at the library building, 27 W. Fourth St.
The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is a vital part of the educational and cultural structure of Cameron County and depends on public support for its continuing progress. The library’s next board of trustees meeting, always open to the public, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 4.
