Ironman shoot enters sixth year at Bradford Gun Club

The Bradford Gun Club will host the sixth Annual William Hanley Sr. Lodge No. 67 Fraternal Order of Police Ironman shoot on Sunday, Oct 1, 2023.

This year’s shoot is in Memory of Lt. Jeffrey Shade. The office will be open for registration beginning at 9 a.m. and all entries will close at 1 p.m.. The format of this Ironman shoot is 50 sporting clays targets plus 25 each of skeet, 5-stand and trap (from the 23 yard line) targets.

The $75 entry fee includes a $15 Lewis class and a buffet lunch served by Liberty Tavern. There will also be a Gun Raffle, 50/50s and basket raffles available. There will be a limited quantity of shells available for purchase at the Club and participants are strongly encouraged to purchase the needed ammo from local retailers in advance of the event.

Bradford Gun Club is open on Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for trap, skeet, sporting clays and 5-Stand practice. The public is welcome and memberships are available.

Beginning on Sunday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 12, BGC will hold turkey shoots. These shoots, which will begin at 11:00 a.m., will include splatter boards, bullseye plates, protections and Annie Oakley’s. Only legal trap loads will be permitted in the Protections and Annie Oakley’s and the Club will provide the ammo for the plate shoots.
